Kinesis
Kinesis is a fun, functional workout focused on building stability, flexibility and strength through a series of resistance-based exercises. Working in a small group setting, participants train with one of Maryland Athletic Club's personal training staff. Appropriate for all fitness levels, one or two Kinesis sessions a week is recommended as part of a balanced exercise program. Please see Harbor East specialty programs for a list of classes, times and FREE demos.Our downtown Baltimore location in Harbor East also offers performance training utilizing the Kinesis workout system. Programs are custom designed for golfers, runners, cyclists, swimmers and skiers. Any sport requiring stability, speed and agility can be enhanced with Kinesis training.
Kinesis is taught in groups of up to 4 people, in 30 minute classes*
KINESIS SCHEDULE:
KINESIS EXPERIENCE
A beginner level class designed to get you familiar with the cables used in Kinesis. Experience is a basic but very effective class designed to work the total body. The class will include squats, lunges, and beginner/intermediate balance work. The class focuses on major muscle groups and includes a very intense cardio workout.

KINESIS FOUNDATION
Foundation incorporates more rotational exercises, targeting different areas of the abdominals. This level 2 class incorporates more balance and shifting of weight than Experience, loading weight on one side of the body to increase balance demands. Major muscle groups as well as secondary muscles are targeted.

KINESIS TENNIS/GOLF
Kinesis for Tennis & Golf will help you develop quickness in the lower body and strength and power in the upper body Improves endurance and develops overall body control; balance.

This advanced class incorporates balance work, and builds power along with strength.
